Each year one scholarship is offered. The Bob and Michele Wilkie Scholarship Applications open in January.

Wilkie Family Scholarship

The Wilkie Family Scholarship has been created in recognition of the Wilkie’s long standing involvement at the Club. Both Bob and Michele Wilkie are life members of the club and have served in many roles within the club. After many years of exceptional service, volunteerism, coaching and rider mentoring at not only club level, but at PCWA level as well it was decided that this service should be recognized further. The creation of the Scholarship program will ensure that their passion and drive for the club and the pony club movement will be continued into the future through others.

The Wilkie Family generously supports this scholarship for financial support towards fees in 2024. Depending on applications this scholarship could be a full or a part scholarship.

If you are a promising young rider you are encouraged to apply. The scholarships are open to all riders up to 17 years of age - as of the 1st of January 2024.

What is required from the successful applicants?

• Commitment to be part of Horsemens Pony Club
• Be actively involved in the club
• Endeavour to represent the club at all times possible
• Compete with HPC club teams
